What is the ChopstiX Club?

The ChopstiX Club get its name, in part, from the historic connection that OMF has with Mainland China. Additionally, a single chopstick has little benefit. It is far more effective working together as a team with another chopstick. So also is our prayer for our missionaries. Together as a team in prayer, God will accomplish many great things. Get a friend involved in the ChopstiX Club and build the team!

The Lord wants all of His creation to worship and glorify Him. Yet in East Asia 2 billion people still live in a reality of lifeless idols and helpless gods. Most people have yet to even hear the name “Jesus.”
Jesus Christ desires His name to be uttered in every nation, tribe and tongue. He wants to reveal His grace and salvation to all peoples of the earth. At this very moment, He is pursuing His glory—one heart at a time. Be a part of God’s eternal purpose to build His kingdom. Live your life for the sake of His glory!
Show Me
Are you ready to participate in the amazing work God is doing in East Asia? The ChopstiX Club allows children like you to be involved by making a valuable contribution through prayer. Use the quarterly ChopstiX Club Newsletter to see where God has placed workers that are challenging the people in these countries with the Good News of the Gospel. Then, ask God to show you where your prayers can be directed and which countries, peoples and Christian workers you can commit to prayer before Him.
Hear Me
Pray to the Lord as the Psalmist prays in Psalm 67:
“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us, that Your ways may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise You, O God; may all the peoples praise You. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for You rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. May the peoples praise You, O God; may all the peoples praise You. Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us. God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.”
Use Me
Ask the Lord to use YOU, His child, in bringing about changes in the lives of East Asia’s peoples and the Christian workers serving among them as you pray.
For the Parents
Dear Parent:
The ChopstiX Club is a great way to help your children learn about Mission, to support missionaries by prayer and to learn about the world.
You can help your child by:
- Helping them apply
- Making sure they get the ChopstiX News when it is mailed.
- Encouraging them to read the News, to pray and follow the activities
- Participating with them; read and pray together
- Seek other ways for you and your child to learn more about God's world and Missionary work.
